10 Work From Home Jobs That Let You Set Your Own Schedule

Working from home can be a dream come true for anyone who doesn't get along with their boss or coworkers. It can also be a great option for those who want to set their own schedule. The following jobs all allow you to work from your own home and set your own schedule:


Freelance writer


As a freelance writer, you can work from home and set your own schedule. You’ll have to do the work on your own, but this is a great option if you want some breathing room in between shifts and need an income that can be scaled up or down depending on your availability.

You don’t need any experience with writing or journalism—just a clear understanding of how to use a computer and access the internet. If you already have experience as a blogger or content editor, that could help too (but it isn’t necessary).


The main thing? Be able to communicate well through email! You'll be corresponding with editors about articles or blog posts, so being able to communicate clearly will make all the difference when it comes time for payment too--you don't want any misunderstandings about what was agreed upon or what deadlines were set beforehand!
